Man struck in the head in Corner Brook


At 1:21 a.m. the RNC responded to the area of Valley Road in response to a call from a male requesting an ambulance as he had been struck in the head.


On arrival, officers identified the injured male. Subsequent checks were completed on the male showing that he was on a release order with curfew and alcohol consumption conditions.


The subject, a 19-year-old resident of Corner Brook, was treated at Western Memorial Hospital and arrested once released.


The male was charged with two counts of Breach of Release Order and held for court later in the day.
