House fire in Clarenville Friday evening

Shortly after 7 PM on Friday June the 7th Clarenville Volunteer Fire Department along with RCMP and Newfoundland health services

responded to reports of a house fire off of Palmers Ln in Shoal Harbour. As emergency crews arrived on the scene they seen smoke coming out of the house. Crews set up a attack line and put water on the fire as other crews arrived they set up a supply line across Palmers Ln to supply water to fellow members on scene. The road was closed for some time. There is no word on injuries as a result of the fire, but the fire is under investigation
