Gas prices take a dive

There are some big drops in some fuel prices today.

Gas has dropped 7.3 cents per litre. Diesel on the Island has dropped 1.9 cents, while diesel in western Labrador increased by 3 cents.

Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island decreased by 1.59 cents and stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador went up by 4.05 cents per litre.

These changes are based on the most recently available market data as of the close of business on September 25, and as a result do not reflect more recent market activity.

The Board’s next price adjustment is on Wednesday, September 30.
