Maximum fuel prices decreased for most fuel types in Newfoundland and Labrador following the latest price adjustment, while propane heating fuel prices increased.

The changes included:

  • Gasoline decreased by 2.5 cents per litre.

  • Diesel motor fuel on the Island decreased by up to 0.3 cents per litre.

  • Diesel motor fuel in western Labrador decreased by 0.2 cents per litre.

  • Furnace oil heating fuel on the Island decreased by 0.24 cents per litre.

  • Stove oil heating fuel in western Labrador decreased by 0.22 cents per litre.

  • Propane heating fuel increased by 0.4 cents per litre.

The changes were based on the most recently available average market data as of the close of business on September 2. As a result, they did not reflect more recent market activity.

The Board's next price adjustment was scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026.
