Fire ban in place across the entire province

The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture has imposed a fire ban for the entire province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

In an update this morning the ban was implemented.

This comes after Churchill Falls was evacuated overnight due to an out of control wildfire.
