Female arrested after assault in St. John's

Sunday evening the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a residence in St. John’s to a report of an assault in progress.

Police spoke to the victim who was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

As a result of the investigation a 27-year-old female was arrested and charged with assault, the female was held for court.
