Driver owing $39K in fines arrested in St. John's

Just before 10:00 p.m. last night, the RNC conducted a traffic stop in the west end of St. John’s.

Police determined that the 43-year-old female driver owed in excess of $39,000 in fines and had a suspended driver's license. The driver also blew a “warn” on the roadside screening device.

The vehicle was seized, and the driver was charged with driving while suspended. The driver was released to appear in court at a later date.
