Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux resigns

The Conservative MP for the district of Edmonton Riverbend, Alberta, Matt Jeneroux, has resigned.

There were rumours on Wednesday that Jeneroux would cross the floor and join the Liberal Party.

In a letter, Jeneroux said he will now be focusing on his family.

He was first elected in 2015.
