Prince Harry & Meghan No Longer Using Royal Highness Title

Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry and Meghan will no longer use the titles royal highness nor will they be receiving any public funds.

The couple will no longer represent the Queen.

This announcement comes a week after they announced they would be stepping back as senior royals and will become “financially independent.”

The couple have also agreed to repay the $4 million that was spent on renovations of Frogmore Cottage.

In 2019, the house was converted into a 4-bedroom & nursery, single-family home, at a reported cost from the Sovereign Grant of £2.4 million "of taxpayer-funded costs, royal accounts show", according to a BBC report.

Frogmore Cottage has been closed down and staff were either laid off or moved to other duties within the Windsor Castle estate.
