Government to Compensate Ukrainian Airline Victims Families

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced that the federal government will provide $25,000 in compensation for each of the Canadian victims that were killed on the Ukrainian airline that was shot down by Iran.

Trudeau said that the money will "assist with their immediate needs, such as funeral arrangements and travel."

Iran admitted that Flight PS752 was shot down by a surface-to-air missile.
