Former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney has died at the age of 84.
Cheney served as the 46th vice president of the United States from 2001 to 2009 under President George W. Bush.
The Republican was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 30, 1941. He was married to Lynne Cheney.
On Monday night, Cheney died at his home, surrounded by his family. He had been experiencing complications related to pneumonia and vascular disease.
