21 Minute Uber Ride Cost Customer 18K

Uber has become popular in larger cities to get a ride from point A to point B.

One customer got a shock with their bill over the weekend.

After a 21-minute ride, the customer was charged $18,518.50.

Uber says that the over-charge was a result of driver error. The company says that driver made a mistake when entering the details of the fare into his cab's meter.

The driver in question was a taxi cab that doubled as an Uber car.

The customer was fully refunded.
