Company Offers Microchip Implants to Employees

Some employers like to keep tabs on their employees. A company has taken that to the extreme in Wisconsin.

The vending machine company has some volunteer employees to be microchipped.

These office workers will be able to perform such tasks as opening doors with the swipe of a hand, log onto their computers, and purchase break room snacks with a wave of the hand.

In total about 50 employees at Three Square Market have agreed to be microchipped.

The microchips are about the size of a grain of rice.

The company is the first in the United States to offer staff the technology.
