13-year-old charged with assault following disturbance in St. John’s

A 13-year-old youth is facing an assault charge following a disturbance at a residence in St. John’s.

RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the east end of the city at approximately 8:35 p.m. on November 1.

Following an investigation, the youth was arrested and charged with assault.

The youth was held to appear in court. The victim, who is a relative, did not require medical assistance.
