Gander Hospital Without Power

Central Health is operating on emergency power after a power outage in Gander on Monday.

As a result, some services at the James Payton Memorial Regional Health Centre has been affected.

The health authority says that emergency services remain in place while non-urgent operations and non-urgent clinical appointments have been cancelled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Laboratory will only be seeing urgent patients including chemotherapy and INR. Medical Diagnostic Imaging is closed for routine Services.

A Central Health representative will be in contact with those affected to reschedule appointments.
