As of 8:00 am this morning St. John’s International Airport has resumed normal commercial operations.

The airport stresses that this solution is not permanent.

Passengers are asked to confirm upcoming travel plans with their airline.

Minister of Labour Seamus O'Regan says that a senior mediator from Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, was brought in and was working with the parties through the night.

The airport was reduced to only allowing Cargo, MedEvac and aircraft with 19 seats or less on Tuesday evening due to staffing shortages.
