South Korea fires warning shots at North Korean vessel

On Friday morning, South Korea’s Navy fired warning shots at a merchant ship from North Korea that crossed the western sea boundary between the two countries. The area is disputed.
North Korea did not respond to the incident.
South Korea's Navy is equipped with advanced surface vessels and submarines. It has approximately 262 ships and 88 aircraft.
