Prime Minister to Announce Tariff Relief in St. John's

Prime Minister Mark Carney is set to make an announcement on regional tariff relief in St. John's this afternoon.

The Prime Minister will be joined by Newfoundland and Labrador Premier John Hogan and federal Fisheries Minister Joanne Thompson at the event, which is scheduled for 12:45 p.m.

Following the announcement, Carney will take part in a working lunch with Hogan at 2:00 p.m.

Later in the day, at 3:20 p.m., the Prime Minister is expected to meet with regional energy leaders.
