Post Secondary

  • Memorial's St. John's, Marine Institute and Signal Hill campuses, including the Childcare Centre, are closed all day.

  • Bonavista, Carbonear, Placentia, Ridge Road, Seal Cove & Prince Philip Drive including Daycare, TRO, ATC, PPB, and Employment Office will be closed today.

  • Academy Canada’s St. John’s campuses are closed today.

Government

  • Mount Pearl: The garbage and recycling collection scheduled for Wednesday, February 14th will be postponed until Friday, February 16th.

  • All City of St. John's facilities will be closed today. This includes City Hall and recreation facilities. The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will remain open, except for residential drop-off.

  • Waste and recycling collection for areas 3A and 3B in St. John's is also postponed, with an update late this afternoon.

  • No waste collection in Carbonear.

Other

  • Provincial Government offices in the St. John’s metro region will be closed for the day, except for those staff who have been advised to come in to work.

  • C-NLOPB offices will be closed.

  • Metrobus service will not be operating today.

  • Avalon Mall will be closed for the full day.

  • Supreme Court, General Division in St. John’s will be closed for the day today.

  • The Supreme Court in Gander will be closed for the day.

  • The Supreme Court in Grand Bank will be closed for the day.

  • Supreme Court in Grand Falls-Windsor will remain closed for the remainder of the day.

  • Outpatient blood collection clinics offered at locations other than hospitals in Eastern zones have been cancelled. Blood collection will continue at hospitals as usual.

  • Central bookings for outpatient medical imaging services will be unavailable for the remainder of the day.

  • Urgent care services at Dr. William H. Newhook Community Health Centre in Whitbourne are closed for the remainder of the day. Please note that paramedic services at the site are not impacted by the change in service.

  • The community walk-in clinic located at 50 Mundy Pond Road in St. John’s will be closed for the remainder of the day.
