Lela Evans leaves PC Party

Lela Evans has left the PC Party. The MHA for the District of Torngat Mountains will sit as an Independent MHA.


In a statement, Evans said, "I had either to step down from my MHA position or sit as an independent MHA."


She decided to remain as an MHA.


Evans was elected in 2019 and was re-elected in 2021.
