Labrador City man arrested for impaired driving

The RNC charged a 28-year-old male from Labrador City with impaired driving on Thursday.

On Thursday afternoon the RNC conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on the Trans-Labrador Highway in Labrador City following a report of a possible impaired driver.

The individual has been charged with impaired driving, refusal to provide a breath sample, and having open liquor in a motor vehicle.

The accused was issued a driving suspension, and his vehicle was impounded from the scene.

He was released from custody to appear in Provincial Court on a later date.
