There is flooding being reported in the Town of Placentia.

There is localized flooding in a number of areas in the community due to prolonged heavy rainfall.

Motorists are asked to avoid flooded areas.

Rain will continue this afternoon and evening. The rain will change to snow overnight, but another 30 to 40 mm are possible.
