Canada Beats Russia at World Juniors


Canada has beaten Russia at the world juniors by a score of 5-0 on Monday.


From here, Canada will face off against either the United States or Finland in the gold medal game.


Corner Brook native Alex Newhook returned to the game after dealing with an injury and scored just 59 seconds into the game.


Dawson Mercer of Bay Roberts assisted on Braden Schneider's goal.
