A snowy morning on the Avalon Peninsula

Many areas of eastern Newfoundland woke up to snow this morning. Snow plows were deployed to treat streets.

Commuters needed to clear off their cars before heading out.

The good news is that the snow will gradually come to an end this morning and conditions will be much improved by this afternoon, just in time for Halloween.
