Former NHL Goalie Ray Emery Dead

Former NHL goalie Ray Emery has died at the age of 35.

Hamilton police say that he drowned in Lake Ontario and they are not considering it suspicious.

He was a goaltender who played in the NHL for 11 seasons.

Emery played for several NHL teams during his career.

Emery went swimming with several friends at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club in Hamilton, Ontario. He went for a dive and did not resurface. His body was found later in the day by Hamilton Police.
