Jury Finds Raymond Cormier Not Guilty

A jury has Raymond Cormier not guilty on the charge of second-degree murder in the death of Tina Fontaine.

The trial lasted a little more than 3 weeks.

Tina Fontaine's body was founf in the Red River in Winnipeg wrapped in a cover and weighed down with rocks.

Fontaine was 15.

Once the verdict was delivered, many in the courtroom began to cry and there were many showing signs of disbelief.

As Cormier exited the courtroom some shouted vulgarities at him.
