The Town of Deer Lake is making temporary changes to public access at the Public Works Depot.

To improve safety, the electronic waste and paint collection area is being relocated due to its close proximity to snow-clearing operations and heavy equipment parking.

About this community

Deer Lake is a small town in western Newfoundland and Labrador, located at the head of Deer Lake and along the Humber River. It serves as a regional service centre and is home to Deer Lake Regional Airport, a key transportation hub for the west coast of the island.

Deer Lake Public Library will be hosting an information session on Service Canada Programs, February 10th.
