Woman arrested after shoplifting from six stores at the Avalon Mall

On Tuesday afternoon security at the Avalon Mall detained a woman who had stolen items from several stores.

Police determined that the 27-year-old female had stolen from six different stores at the mall.

She was charged with six counts of theft under $5000.

The accused was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
