Western Health Cancels Bloodwork Appointments in Corner Brook

Western Health has cancelled all outpatient laboratory services that were scheduled for December 29, 30 and 31 at the Western Health Clinic on Herald Avenue in Corner Brook.

Urgent laboratory services will still go ahead. Appointments will also go ahead for patients scheduled for INR, transplant blood work, or chemotherapy blood work at the scheduled time.

This temporary change is being implemented due to increased staffing demands, including for testing, as well a number of staff members impacted by exposure notifications or who have symptoms and require isolation.

Patients will be called to reschedule appointments early in the new year.
