Week-long closure of ER Department at U.S. Memorial Health Centre

Emergency services will not be available at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence from Monday, June 12 at 8:00 am to Monday, June 19 at 8:00 am.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services says the closure is due to human resource challenges.

Primary health care such as family practice clinic appointments will continue.

Patients requiring emergency services during the closures should call 911 or proceed to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre or the Dr. S. Beckley Clinic in Grand Bank.
