Wasp study participants needed in Carbonear

Barry Hicks of Carbonear is conducting a study on yellowjacket wasps this summer.

The purpose of the study is to determine what species of yellowjacket wasps are common.

To conduct the study, Hicks is looking for homeowners who would be interesting in participating in the study by allowing the placement of a wasp trap in the back of their yard.

The traps will be set up for four weeks and cleaned weekly.
