Victim transported to hospital after assault with a weapon in St. John's

On Tuesday the RNC was called to a report of an assault with a weapon in the downtown area of St. John’s.

Responding officers found the victim, who was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The investigation is ongoing and there have been no arrests.
