Update on cyberattack this morning

The provincial government and Eastern Health will provide an update this morning on the cyberattack that occurred in November.

Minister of Health and Community Services John Haggie and Eastern Health CEO Dave Diamond will provide an update at 10:30 a.m.

All of the regional health authorities were impacted to some degree. The attack caused delays in services and personal information and personal health information were accessed in some cases.
