Teacher at Crescent Collegiate charged with assault against a student

The RCMP has charged 53-year-old Katherine Peddle, a teacher at Crescent Collegiate with assault.

On February 20 police received the report of an alleged assault involving a teacher and a student that occurred while school was in session.

Peddle attended the detachment on March 3 and was arrested for assault. She was released from custody and is set to attend court on May 10.

Located in Blaketown, Crescent Collegiate is comprised of students from grades seven to twelve.
