Swimming Lessons to Resume at Provincially Operated Pools

On July 6 provincially operated pools in Gander and Corner Brook will resume swimming lessons.

Registration opened on Saturday and will remain open until all spaces are filled.

Session dates will be from Tuesday to Friday, July 6–16 and Tuesday to Friday, July 27–August 6.

There have been some changes to Lesson Levels. Red Cross Swim – Parent & Tot, Preschool School Age Level 1 to 4 will not be offered at this time. School Age Level 5 to 10 Class size has been reduced; a parent/guardian is not required in the pool with the child.

The following COVID-19 guidelines have been developed:

• Instructors are required to maintain physical distance unless in case of emergency.

• Equipment will be available for classes and will be disinfected before and after each use.

• Participants will be assigned their own equipment to use for the duration of their daily class.
