Survey finds 1 in 3 Canadians sought mental health support in the last year
A recent survey from the Angus Reid Forum shows that one in three Canadians have sought mental health support in the last year.
To receive support, most seek out a medical professional while others try to use online information and or applications.
It is not always easy to receive support with eight per cent of respondents saying they have experienced difficulty in receiving care.
The same survey found that 28 per cent of Canadians support expanding MAID (Medical Assistance In Dying) for individuals where mental illness is the only condition.
