Student charged with assault after incident at Lewisporte school

The Lewisporte RCMP is investigating an assault that occurred at Lewisporte Intermediate School on November 9.

Shortly before the lunch hour yesterday, police received a report of an assault that took place inside the school involving two students. 

Officers attended the school and determined that one youth was assaulted by another, resulting in a charge of assault.

The investigation is continuing.
