Strike looms at MUN

MUNFA has indicated that if an agreement is not reached by midnight on Jan. 29, their members will take strike action at 12:01 a.m. on January 30.

In a statement, Memorial University says it "remains hopeful that a resolution can be reached through bargaining."

MUN says that in the event of a labour disruption, there is a process by which MUNFA members can submit a request to continue research that would be irreparably harmed if paused during the duration of job action.

Earlier this week MUN issued a document titled "tips for safely crossing a picket line" a document that was similar to a document released by Loyola College.
