Several vehicles broken into in downtown St. John's

A 22-year-old male will appear in court today after several vehicles were broken into in downtown St. John's on Sunday.

The RNC was alerted to a theft at a residence and the suspect had left the area before police arrival. Officers remained in the area conducting further investigation and determined multiple vehicles had been broken into. The accused was later arrested in the area.

He is charged with Assault, Theft, and Breach of Probation.

The RNC would like to thank the public for their assistance in apprehending the accused.
