RNC Make Arrest Following Assault in Metro

RNC made an arrest overnight following a disturbance in St. John’s.

Just after 3:00 am on Tuesday, RNC was called to a report of an ongoing disturbance at a residence in the city center area.

A woman was located who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Officers also located a man believed to be involved in the disturbance.

A 46-year-old man from St. John’s was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats.

The man was held in custody to appear in provincial court.
