RNC Make Arrest following a Break and Enter in St. John’s
On Boxing Day the RNC made an arrest in connection with a break and enter in the Goulds.
Officers were in the area of Durdle Drive after a request for assistance. While dealing with this matter an officer noted a black Honda Civic speeding toward police units in the residential area.
The operator of the vehicle refused to stop for police, nearly striking a parked police unit. The operator then fled from police, driving East on Main Road, Goulds.
During this time the RNC received a report of a Break and Enter, which had just occurred, in the area Kieley Drive, Goulds. The suspect vehicle in this incident was a black Honda Civic.
The driver 37-year-old John Marsh was arrested and charged with break and enter, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and flight from police.
The subsequent investigation led to the recovery of items stolen during the break and enter reported in the area of Kieley Drive.
Marsh was held in custody to appear in court.
