RNC Labrador West Arrest Impaired Driver

Just after midnight, last night RNC officers in Labrador City observed a black SUV travelling in the wrong direction near the Carol Lake Shopping Centre.

Police conducted a traffic stop and the 40-year-old male resident of Fort McMurray was arrested and charged with Refusal and Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle.

His driver's license was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.

The accused will appear in Provincial Court in November.
