RCMP seize quantity of prohibited knives being in the Burin Peninsula Mall

The RCMP seized a quantity of prohibited knives that was being sold by a vendor in the Burin Peninsula Mall in Marystown on Tuesday.

Police say that the business owner was unaware that the knives were prohibited and turned the remaining inventory over to the police for destruction.

Anyone who may have purchased one of these knives is asked to turn it over to Burin Peninsula RCMP, or their local police, for destruction. It is a criminal offence to possess a prohibited weapon.
