RCMP seize large quantity of drugs and cash at Virgin Arm residence

On Wednesday afternoon RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Virgin Arm.

Police found 1.1 kilograms of cocaine, 1.3 kilograms of cannabis, $75,000.00 in cash, nine grams of hash oil, 450 grams of illicit cannabis edibles and other items consistent with drug trafficking were located and seized, as well as a firearm and a prohibited weapon.

A man was taken into custody.

A number of drug-related charges are anticipated to be laid.

The accused was released from custody while the investigation is underway.
