The RCMP is investigating another report of a possible attempted child abduction on Tuesday on Creston Boulevard in Marystown.
Police received a report from a parent who indicated that their child was approached while walking along the road by an unknown male who was operating a truck. The man asked the youth to get into the vehicle. The youth refused and ran to a nearby residence.
The man is described as caucasian. He was between 40 and 50 years old with grey hair and a skinny build. The vehicle is described as a red pickup truck.
The RCMP is encouraging parents to talk to their children about what they should do to protect themselves in a situation such as this. There have been several reports of similar incidents across the province in the last few weeks.
