RCMP investigating after man grabs girl in Lourdes


Bay St. George RCMP is investigating after a 13-year-old girl was approached by an unknown man in the area of the post office in the community of Lourdes on Tuesday evening.


The incident occurred between 6:45 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.


The girl was walking around a roadway when the man made a sexual remark about her appearance and grabbed her by the shoulder. She kicked him and fled the area.


The man is described as a white male in his mid-thirties to early forties. He is about 5' 9" tall with an average build. He has dark eyebrows and dark hair below his ears, a goatee with a wide jawline, crooked yellow teeth, and a musky smell.


At the time he was wearing a black jacket and a blue shirt with a tear on the front bottom of the shirt and black skater-style shoes. He may also have an out of province accent.
