RCMP catches driver with no license since 1993 #nltraffic

A man from Norris Point was caught twice for the same driving infractions.

Last Sunday, RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle not fit to be operating on the roadway. Police located the vehicle parked in a driveway. The driver has had an expired license since 1993.

The vehicle was also unregistered and uninsured.

RCMP issued the man was ticketed for operating a vehicle without a licence, registration and insurance and he was warned that the vehicle was to remain parked until the violations were corrected.

Two days later, the same driver and vehicle were located driving on Neddies Harbour Road in Norris Point.

A traffic stop was conducted and the man was found committing the same violations of driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle without a valid driver’s licence. The driver was again ticketed for operating a vehicle with an expired driver’s licence, registration and insurance and the car was seized and impounded.
