RCMP alerts RNC to stolen vehicle, man arrested

On Wednesday evening the RCMP alerted the RNC of a stolen vehicle travelling east on the Trans-Canada Highway.

Officers attended to the area and observed the vehicle eastbound on the Outer Ring Road in the area of Torbay.

Officers called in the RNC K9 unit.

After approximately 30 minutes, a male was taken into custody and subsequently passed over to the RCMP Avalon East for a follow-up investigation.
