Provincial Government Provides $1 Million Investment in Three Airport Authorities

The provincial government is providing $1 million in funding for three provincial airport authorities.

The funding will support near-term air access activities and will be distributed to the St. John’s Airport Authority, Gander International Airport Authority, and the Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority.

Funding will be split with the St. John’s Airport Authority receiving $500,000, while both Deer Lake Regional Airport Authority and the Gander International Airport Authority will each receive $250,000.
