Provincial Election Likely Called this Evening

Newfound News has learned that a provincial election will likely be called this evening.

Premier Andrew Furey is expected to make the announcement this evening after a meeting with Lieutenant-Governor Judy Foote.

After being sworn in as premier, Furey is required to call an election within a year.
